- Battery load tested normal. Charging system normal at 14.1 volts. Perform parasitic drain test. Connect tested to OBD port and allow main loads to turn off, then disconnect battery and allow tested to power vehicle and measure drain over time. When disconnecting the battery it was noticed that both terminals could be rotated too easily on battery posts, and the negative pulled right off. Terminals not installed all the way down onto posts due to aftermarket felt "corrosion inhibitors". Remove them, loosen clamps all the way and install to allow full post contact and clamping. Drain measures at only 6mA after one hour of letting vehicle sit to power down fully. Typical maximum allowable is under 50mA. At this time there is no drain or battery issues. Suspect intermittent connection at negative terminal.
