- EVAP System Small Leak Codes present in permanent status as well. All monitors complete beside EVAP. Perform EVAP system self-check with scan tool. Test failed with large leak, ESIM switch never closed. Remove engine cover to inspect and access purge hose for testing. Has new purge valve and noted a repair to the purge tube with hose clamps and poly hose. Test EVAP system for leaks with smoke/flow tester. Confirm system is free of leaks. Current fault is due to a failed EVAP System Integrity Monitor. Switch inside ESIM is not closing when vacuum is pulled on system, so PCM things there is a leak. Need to replace ESIM located on canister. Also highly recommend to replace the purge hose assy that has been repaired. Repair would not pass a visual inspection during smog check if seen, and other parts of the same hose are showing signs of cracking and similar failure.
- Includes replace the purge hose. Performed system self-check after repairs, system passed.
