- Transmitter ID3 Error Upon initial check out the A/C and power steering is working normally. ABS lights are on, but all communication is normal. Cleared codes and all lights off with no current faults. Looks like the issue is intermittent. Issue happened once more on road test. The entire CAN network lost communication and A/C compressor stopped working due to comm loss. CAN bus circuit is shorted. Unplugged models on bus and found network comm came back up when steering angle sensor was disconnected. Plugging module back in caused network to go down. Steering angle sensor is directly connected to the CAN network and has an intermittent short. Need to replace SAS and perform zero-point calibration.
