Services Performed
- Change oil & filter. Top off all fluid levels. Check & adjust tire pressure. Visual inspection of hoses, belts, etc. Lube chassis.
- Engine fault code p0521 engine oil pressure sensor performance fault. Customer added one quart of oil to bring to a full mark. 1 quart low should not cause any issues with actual oil pressure. Confirm correct oil pressure on cold start. Record oil pressure readings during engine warm-up at 2000 RPM. Pressures slowly drops from about 50 psi all the way down to under 4 PSI as the engine warms up. There is an internal engine problem, likely bearing clearance issues. Engine needs to be replaced. May want to try oil change with 20/50 and potentially adding Lucas additive.
