- Engine – Permanent Codes P0302
- Misfire No.2 Cylinder P0304
- Misfire No.4 Cylinder P0305
- Misfire No.5 Cylinder P0300
- Random Misfire Detected Freeze frame data shows codes setting during warm up phase. Confirm misfires counting after cold start and idle. Cylinder #4 misfires almost all the time at idle once in closed loop. Most other cylinders count misfires here and there, with #2 being the second most. With engine at full operating temp, the MAP sensor reading is about .85V. This is the correct reading indicating good engine vacuum and unlikely valve adjustment issue. Inspected #4 spark plug and coil. Some relatively minor oil fouling noted on plug, coil tests okay. Swapped coils 4/6 and plugs 4/5. Main misfire moved to #5. Plug failing due to oil fouling. These engines are common to have oil foiling due to piston ring issues. Advise to replace all spark plugs and recheck engine running condition. Oil is currently full, and dark. No LOF sticker of history here.
