  • Code Scan; MIL is not on Engine P0341-00
  • Camshaft Position Sensor "A" Circuit Range/Performance (Bank 1 or single sensor) P0346-00
  • Camshaft Position Sensor "A" Circuit Range/Performance (Bank 2) Confirmed intermittent shaking after warm up, under light throttle under load. Can reproduce symptom in drive or reverse. At the same time as roughness, the engine is rattling from timing chain area. Found oil 3 qt low. Added oil, no change in symptoms. Can see the variable cam timing data fluctuating during noise. Engine has cam phaser/timing chain problems. Incorrect valve timing is causing rough running and codes. Based on mileage, would advise complete timing chain job with phasers and VCT control solenoids.
  • Replace timing chain, phasers, gaskets, timing solenoid, crank seal, valve cover gaskets, also replace water pump and belt
  • Replace spark plug
  • Hazardous waste disposal fee

  • Engine has a dry manifold. Not able to leak coolant. Pressure test cooling system to 15 psi. Can see the water outlet housing under the throttle body area is dripping. Need to replace all housing components and the bypass hose. While pressure testing, the steel lower heater pipe on the right side of the engine blew out. The two heater pipes have prior repairs covered in epoxy/JB Weld. Cooling system is badly rusted from only having water in it. Pipes are rusting from the inside out and need to be replaced. Then system will need flush and filled with correct coolant mixture.
  • Park brake hard to pull up, and doesn't hold even when pulled up to lock. Trace to BOTH rear park brake cables are seized. Caliper levers move freely and engage park brake okay. Also noted both inboard rear brake pads are cocked in their position due to incorrect alignment of caliper piston during last pad replacement. The pin on the pad is not aligned into the slot on the piston. This is causing uneven pad wear and will require new pads when corrected. Front brakes 70-75%. Advise not to use park brake at all until cables are replaced. Use may cause brakes to engage and not release.
  • Includes bypass hose, upper radiator hose and all parts of housing assy
  • HEATER HOSES – Remove & Replace – V6 Pipe Assy –
  • Water was clean, but system is still rusty.
  • PARKING BRAKE CABLE – Remove & Replace – Rear,Both
  • Install dealer pads.
  • Machine rear rotors on vehicle
  • Hazardous Waste Disposal Fee
