    • Test electrical system for parasitic drain. Initial drain reading was 212mA. After 30 minutes drain had dropped to 125mA, and was the same 40 minutes later. Typical maximum allowable is 50mA or less. Pulling fuses one by one leads to the "room" fuse carrying all the current. Room fuse power many devices all over the vehicle. Found that if the dash harness #3 is disconnected the drain drops to about 12mA. Started disconnecting items in the dash that are on this circuit like the cluster, rear view mirror, trunk opener, DLC, and other items that are accessible. Was not able to tracer in the first hour. Next need to reset system for drain to be apparent, then remove the center stack (radio/HVAC) which requires the console to be removed. Have not yet found any aftermarket devices. Assembled all connector, components and panels removed for initial testing, in preparation of further testing in center stack. Left meter on battery monitoring current flow overnight and found no excessive draw in the morning. Started and operated the vehicle, drove and used all accessories. Left to sit for an hour an check drain again. Drain is now normal at 16-20mA.
