- Unable to duplicate stalling or chugging. MIL is on with fault code P0456-EVAP system very small leak. Found purge valve is sticking open slightly allowing system to flow when commanded off. This may cause lean or rich condition and at idle may cause stall or roughness. Will not cause stalling under load. Advise to replace purge solenoid and clean throttle bod and return to customer. Did find the intake boot clamp totally loose on throttle body. Maybe it slips partly off sometimes?
- Remove & Replace canister purge valve
- Clean throttle body and MAF
