- Engine Oil Pressure Sensor/Switch "A" Low Inspect cooling system operation from cold start. Temp rises normally and heater pipes/hoses heat up and heater will operate continuously, indicating proper water pump flow. Temp continues to rise up into the 230's where the cooling fan comes on and keeps rising. Upper rad hose and radiator never get hot. Infrared temp reading of engine right behind thermostat matches scan reading. Tried to purge air from thermostat bleed, no air present. Something is wrong with the thermostat. Need to remove and inspect and likely replace. Current engine faults are separate concers. Engine oil leaking badly from oil filter cap seal area when cold. Nearly stopped when ht. Suspect o-ring issue. Note rust is an issue on this vehicle, and any issues with oil cooler/housing may lead to replacement and need to deal with fastener removal issues on top of engine.
