- Fault code scan: Engine fault P1217-engine over temperature condition No fuel smell at this time, only coolant. Found system 1 gallon low. pressure tested and found upper hose/filler elbow cracked. Need to replace upper hose assy and recheck cooling system operation. No HC detected in system at this time. Fault code will cause limp-mode/low power mode.
- There is no separate fuse for the backlight on the radio display. May want to contact the dealer to see if they can supply light bulbs for it. The LCD display works but the backlight does not.
- Remove & Replace – Upper radiator hose
- Remove four wheels and rear brake drums/rotors to inspect brake condition. Inspect entire system for leaks. Front brakes slight pulsation, 50% remaining approx – aftermarket pads over hang rotor slightly might make noise. Rear brakes squeak when braking slow approx 25-30% remaining , rotors okay
