- Code Scan shows no current faults in ABS/Trac system. One history code in another system: Power Steering Control Module U0415-22
- Invalid Data Received From Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) Control Module A – Signal Amplitude > Maximum – Not Current DTC Fault indicates the steering ECU had an input from the ABS that didn't make sense. Sub-code 22 is specific to steering wheel angle input exceeded the maximum travel of steering gear. Set up scan tool to monitor the steering angle data and road tested. Found on transition rap on freeway during right curve the traction activated and the steering angle reading glitched. Back at shop can see a repeatable glitch in the sensor reading as wheel is turned back and forth. Eventually the indicators came on and set a current ABS code: C1B00-64
- Steering angle sensor – Signal Plausibility Failure – Current DTC – Warning Lamp On This particular vehicle option list includes Active Park Assist, and on these models only, the ABS gets it's wheel position data from a sensor behind the clockspring, all standard-models get this data from the steering gear itself. Pinpoint tests lead to replacement of theSteering Wheel Rotation Sensor.
