- Torque Limitation Due To Fuel Pressure EPC light usually comes on right before check engine light. If fault goes away fast enough the CEL will never come on and EPC will go out. Right now there are no issues happening that are setting knock or fuel pressure faults. Found the engine oil is very low, NO OIL ON DIPSTICK. Engine knock may be from lack of oil. Also the fuel system is direct injected and uses an engine driven pump. Lack of oil may cause issues with fuel pump. Advise to preform LOF and road test more to see if any issues come up. No history of LOF here. There is a TSB for the engine knock codes and a reflash to address them, but nothing about fuel pressure related issues.
- – Needs wiper blades – Spark plug gap at .42 (spec .27 – .31) – transmission fluid dirty/black – lights okay – alternator charging 14v – battery okay – air filter okay – belt okay – coolant okay – hoses okay – cabin filter okay – brakes front approx 40% remaining – Brakes rear approx 60% remaining
- Change oil and filter. Replace with synthetic oil. Lube chassis, top off all fluid levels, adjust tire pressure. – Drained oil, only had 2 qts of oil in engine
- Install wiper blades
- SPARK PLUGS – Remove & Replace –
- Replace transmission filter and renew fluid
- Hazardous Waste Disposal Fee
