- Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold Bank 2 Monitor all four AF/O2 senors and fuel trims while operating vehicle. Fuel trims in normal range. Verify the Bank 2 catalyst is failing. Downstream O2 sensor on bank 2 has excessive switch rate under loaded and cruise conditions. Bank 1 downstream sensor is steady under the same conditions. Needs bank 2 catalytic converter/manifold assy. Would also advise to replace the upstream AF sensor on bank 2 at the same time due to mileage. (Bank 2 is the forward bank, nearest to radiator)
