Code P0101 – Mass air flow A circuit range/performance Code P0172 – System too rich bank 1 Code P0401 – EGR glow insufficient Code P0403 – EGR Control circuit Code P013A – O2 sensor slow response rich to lean bank 1 sensor 1 During the first test drive, the vehicle was hesitating and lurching severely. A smoke test revealed that the plastic part of the intake duct was leaking. The MAF sensor reading is very erratic even when sitting still at idle, Tried a known good MAF sensor and none of the codes came back on so far. The air filter is extremely dirty.
- Remove and replace the intake duct
- Remove and replace the mss air flow sensor
- Replace air filter
- Clean throttle body
- Remove EGR valve, clean ports and valve. Reinstall EGR valve.
- Hose clamp was installed incorrectly, correct position and tighten up.
