    • Battery totally dead on arrival. Tried to charge, was unable. Replaced battery. Engine unable to crank at first because trans was not in correct configuration to allow start. • Transmission Friction Element "B" Stuck On OBDII Permanent Codes ($0A) P07A5
    • Transmission Friction Element "B" Stuck On The majority of the fault codes are from the low battery voltage. Misfire likely just due to sitting for an extended period. The P07A5 trans fault is the one to be concerned about along with the customer complaint of shifting issues. Cleared all faults and road tested a couple of miles. Trans shifting issues noted a few times and P07A5 reset. Ran the clutch system self-tests and calibration. Clutch test failed the "ramp test" portion on the first attempt, then passed on the second attempt. Calibration procedure then completed. Road test again for a longer period, and system operated normally. No current codes returned. There are two possibilities. Either the vehicle wasn't getting driven enough and one of the clutch actuators got sticky and lost calibration due to lack of movement, or the clutch actuator ramp itself is failing. These actuators are a common point of failure on these transmissions. If problem keeps happening, the transmission will need to be removed and the clutch kit will need to be replaced along with both shift actuator motors to ensure normal operation.

    • After 30 minute wait after shut down, the battery drain measured 12mA. Max allowable is around 50mA. Drain does not seem to be an issue. Alternator normal. When scanning for fault codes, noted there is an auxiliary OBD2 connector near factory connector. Plugged it into the vehicle connector and the aftermarket steering wheel came to life. Started engine, let everything sync, then shut down. After 30 minutes, the drain was 950mA, far exceeding the standard 50mA limit. Unplugged the steering wheel and drain dropped to 750mA, then stepped down over about 30 seconds to 12mA as all the modules on the network went to sleep. Steering wheel is keeping the network alive. Left the connector unplugged overnight to check starting in the AM. No issues starting in AM. Battery voltage normal. Something wrong with tail/turn/brake lights. Sometimes only center brake light works. Sometimes left brake/turn works. Right brake/turn not working at all. Suspect aftermarket lights not playing well with BCM that controls lights. • Left Rear Turn Lamp Feedback – Signal Stuck High B1266-24
    • Right Rear Turn Lamp Feedback – Signal Stuck High
