Found normal reading of 3.4M ohms but when the sensor wire is moved or bent the resistance reading goes open. Circuit fault inside the speed sensor cable between strut and body. Need to replace sensor.

    • EVAP System Leak Detected – Large Leak P04F0
    • EVAP System High Load Purge Line "A" Performance OBDII Permanent Codes ($0A) P0455
    • EVAP System Leak Detected – Large Leak First tested the EVAP system, as it seems all of the comm codes are history and comm is normal at this time. Confirmed when running the EVAP gross leak test the tank doesn't build any vacuum at all, which could be a leak or lack of purge. Performed leak test with external EVAP system test machine and found once filled, the system shows no leakage on flow meter. Test the purge solenoid which appears to be new. Found no leaks but also will not flow at all when commanded by PCM. If solenoid is turned on with scan tool then tapped on it will briefly flow then stop again. Purge solenoid is faulty. Looks like aftermarket, advise replace with OEM part. So far the comm codes are not resetting. Unsure if they are a real problem or if they were induced by a scan tool. Trans did not act up when pulling into shop or moving on hill. Fluid is just a bit low, guessing .5-1.0 qt? With trans at full temp, level is 1/4-3/8" low. No trans leaks. Looks like engine had been replaced. Maybe leaked during that procedure. Not low enough to cause any real issue. Will check again when cold. Topped off .75qt ULV fluid. Trans acted normal in the AM, no comm codes resetting at this time.
    • Verified EVAP gross leak test now enters and holds vacuum in tank. System normal.

    • Code Scan shows no current faults in ABS/Trac system. One history code in another system: Power Steering Control Module U0415-22
    • Invalid Data Received From Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) Control Module A – Signal Amplitude > Maximum – Not Current DTC Fault indicates the steering ECU had an input from the ABS that didn't make sense. Sub-code 22 is specific to steering wheel angle input exceeded the maximum travel of steering gear. Set up scan tool to monitor the steering angle data and road tested. Found on transition rap on freeway during right curve the traction activated and the steering angle reading glitched. Back at shop can see a repeatable glitch in the sensor reading as wheel is turned back and forth. Eventually the indicators came on and set a current ABS code: C1B00-64
    • Steering angle sensor – Signal Plausibility Failure – Current DTC – Warning Lamp On This particular vehicle option list includes Active Park Assist, and on these models only, the ABS gets it's wheel position data from a sensor behind the clockspring, all standard-models get this data from the steering gear itself. Pinpoint tests lead to replacement of theSteering Wheel Rotation Sensor.
